Construction Grounds Speedie

It's neither a painting of construction nor a speed painting, I used these words as to what the picture resembles. Construction grounds was just a name that popped up in my head even though it's more of a city scape and I don't particularly try to have any of my work be speed paintings, I just like to work things to certain points. So far I put about 3 hours into this piece, it's not done yet but I feel like I'm getting a better grasp of atmosphere and my own aesthetic taste.

Blade Runner Final

These are my final pieces for illustration 1 with Daniel Krall, I am pretty happy with how these turned out. It was a really great day for critiques because most of my classmates brought in really sweet work, definitely learned a lot from working from these and looking at my peers work. The most enriching feeling is spending every waking hour for the last week working on these turning them in and still feel excited about making more work. There is so much illustration to see and do I don't understand how anyone couldn't be excited about all of the things going on.

Dutch Landscape Study

A quick hour long study combining photoshop cs4 and painter 10 with photo ref. Trying to get a feel of depth in landscape painting and a solid understanding of colors under different lighting conditions.
