I've been trying to do more editorial type of work and trying to find a vocabulary between graphic work and realistic work, shit's hard. I've been moving into more cartoony stuff that I will post in the future and have been in a rutt with concept work. Though seeing my peers do some pretty great concept work has been inspirational.

I started trying to do more female figures so this being my first real illustration with them, its a bit rough around the edges but i put a lot of myself into it, happy with the results. I am going to fix the hands.

Worked on some more sketching in my popular moleskin sketchbook, everything you see (but the top image) is from my head, i want to get better at cartooning and I've started to use sumi ink. The environment studies are to help me keep a hand in concepting as I am trying more editorial illustration this semester.
